Our Pre-Starting/Groundwork program is aimed at getting the horse to a level where they are almost ready to back, great for young horses that may not be ready to back yet, but it gives then an opportunity to start mentally and emotionally maturing. By the end they will have been taught skills and cues that transfer well into saddle, they effectively follow feel and respond well to pressure aids, they have had a saddle on their backs, have been long reined and can be mouthed if owner desires.

On occasion we do take on outside horses in for breaking/training. 
We take every measure to allow the horse to become educated at the rate it is comfortable with, so as not to fry their brain or make them "sour" to work.

The time taken varies depending on the horse and level of education the owner wants the horse at when finished.

We focus on producing relaxed, willing and versatile horses suitable for performance and pleasure.

Rates for Pre-Starting/groundwork: 

$300 per week including training, feed, adlib hay, and rugging (if necessary)

Breaking/Training: 

Currently not taking on horses for breaking
